On Everyday, we used it to dry out a new build, dry washing and to mange the high level of humidity in the ensuite from the shower constantly in use. However it failed, and would not operate even though it was turned on. I am an engineer so took it apart into a lot of pieces. The failure was a hole in the thin plastic water jacket. As there was nothing around it that was metal and could have burnt it, I came to conclusion that the vents which collect fluff on the filter had built up and the heat build up on the jacket raised to a level that caused the jacket material to fail. Overall I was satisfied with the product and its performance. The failure could have been down to not cleaning the filter regular enough, which is a requirement in the instructions. The material of the water jacket was a polymer like polythene so maybe a lower melting temperature than polypropylene, but that would have increased price. The safety wasn’t compromised with the failure as it failed to operate. I was tempted to purchase the same again, but instead went for a bigger more expensive meaco one. Forget the full speed mode though because that is very loud - you won't be sleeping near that without ear plugs. The sound you hear is really the sound of air rushing past the direction vanes.http://www.lospinello.it/public/news/cuisinart-dlc-10-food-processor-manual.xml

dd122fw instruction manual, dd122fw instruction manual pdf, dd122fw instruction manual download, dd122fw instruction manual free, dd122fw instruction manual 2016.

However, as it does this the sound of the air through the vanes changes in pitch and this is quite annoying. I find, having the cover fully open so that air goes straight up is the quietest setting and leave it like that. This is a desiccant dehumidifier, so you don't get the annoying thump of a compressor starting up and shutting down. You can't hear any change in noise from when the dehumidifier is running to when it has turned off - the fans continue running to circulate air even when the humidity level has reached it's correct setting. One of the characteristics of a desiccant dehumidifier is that they give off quite a bit more heat than a compressor type. They use a bit more power than a compressor type but it's like having a low powered heater on for a tiny amount more power consumption. This has made the upstairs in our house feel warmer - so much so, I don't usually need to put the heating on when working from home in my upstairs office. Performance wise, it really does collect quite a lot of water. The collection tray could have been designed a little better - it should have a flap you can lift to pour out the water. As it is, I find it easiest to lift up a corner of the tray lid and pour water out of there. So, it's quiet and works well, so why have I given it 3 stars. Well, it's the lights. When the unit is turned on there is a blue light inside. This is not noticeable in daylight but at night the whole of the clear blue section you can see on the side lights up. The light inside is so bright it even shines out of the fan vents. Its like something out of Close Encounters of the Third Kind. I contacted Ecoair and they said there was no way of turning it off. What I've had to do is stick some vinyl over the blue plastic section to stop the light illuminating the landing and pouring into the bedrooms (see photos). Its really that bright. Utter madness that there is no provision to turn this off. If you intend to use this in a bedroom, I can't recommend it.http://learnsmart.com.ng/fckeditor/editor/filemanager/connectors/php/userfiles/cuisinart-dlc-1-mini-prep-food-processor-manual.xml

If you intend to use it in a room where bright illumination is not a problem, then it'd be a good buy. Having said that, I wish I'd have bought the cheaper model without the ioniser. Please try again later. From United KingdomAll the damp problems have gone away now. This unit is MUCH quieter than the compressor based dehumidifier I have and much more effective too. I can confirm that this unit does indeed work right down to almost freezing temperatures too (the reason I had to stop using my old compressor dehumidifier). Please try again later. I always try to keep the humidity of my home around 60, otherwise it reaches till 90. Even after 4 years, it works as good as earlier. Now, that I have become a father, I become more careful about how the atmosphere is where my kids is staying or going. We have been using it regularly especially in winters. My favourite is to use the 2 hour timer in combination with the swirling movement of the fan. Please try again later. Please try again later. MichaelC 5.0 out of 5 stars Very versitile in its operation allowing different settings for airflow, a timer for allowing you to set and forget and settings for very humid conditions. Its been appalling weather recently and our utility room has been rammed with washing recently but after putting the EcoAir in there with the washing it has kept the moisture right down and made the drying time mush speedier. Handy cut-off switch when the container gets full and light enough to move easily around the house if you need to. It can sit at the foot of the stairs and is powerfull to manage both upstairs and downstairs for us.Please try again later. Please try again later.

It is astonishing just how much moisture this machine collects from the air, its no surprise that britains houses suffer with mould problems when you see just how much this little machine can collect. Aside from its obvious uses its also very good at drying washing as well so its handy to have one around for when winters here. It can get noisy on the higher settings but for just general use the much quieter low setting is sufficient so sound shouldn't be an issue its no different to having a normal fan running. The quality of materials and the build quality of this dehumidifier are top notch, it is a very well made machine that i will hopefully get years of use out ofPlease try again later. It is a little noisy but no more than the air con when you are on holiday. I sometimes use this to dry my washing in summer and it does actually dry it using the special dry option. All in all, I would recommend this product, if you follow the instructions on how to use it you cant go wrong. I have seen a significant difference in the amount of moisture build up in my home and the musty smells have gone too. Please try again later. Please try again later. Amazon Customer 2.0 out of 5 stars So why the low score. Well, despite the features and claims I just haven't found it to be that effective. Yes I've left it running for many hours a day over several weeks to bed in. Yes, I open a window to clear the bathroom. No, I don't generate a lot of vapour in the kitchen. I find the auto-mode to be very unstable and incapable of quickly bringing the humidity down to the target level (60%). It will operate for a long time on high, drop down to low for a short period, then kick back up again. I'm not generating any vapour during this time. Drying laundry has also been far from impressive. Two to four hours? Absolutely not.

For a small to normal load with a couple of hand towels and cotton T-shirts, easily 6-8 hours. In fact I've had towels that are still wet (not damp) after 6 hours. The big problem is that you have to move the washing around as it seems to dry only those parts that are in direct airflow. I am also to be convinced by the effectiveness of the louvres to control air-flow direction. Clearly this makes it impossible to simply leave the unit to it overnight (4 or 8 hour timer) and wake up to dry washing. The long run-time required also means it is no more cost-effective than using a much quicker tumble dryer, which was half the point. That would not matter so much if the effects were noticeable. As it is, I'm left guessing as to what it's doing and why it doesn't seem to be working that well. Perhaps there are quality variations between units as there are plenty of rave reviews. I really wanted to like this unit but sadly it just has not been effective for me.Please try again later. Please try again later. Chris Geary 2.0 out of 5 stars In the last few weeks, it's started with the dreaded random switch off. No warning light is shown, it runs for a random amount of time then turns itself off - gracefully I should add (ie it stops and runs the cooldown timer before shutting off completely). It was also very rattly throughout its short life and it the continuous drain hose didn't marry up well, meaning it filled its internal tank. While it worked, it dehumidifed well enough but I wouldn't buy it again. Is 3 years enough for something that cost me ?160? I'm not sure. I'm disappointed thats for sure. What have I replaced it with. A ?100 compressor unit from Screwfix which runs down to 5c and if need be I'll supplement with additional heat for the winter months.

I thought dessicant units were the way to go, but after reading so many hitting the same random shutdown issue and with other brands being similarly affected as well as my own unit dieing, I'm now convinced dessicant is really not worth the money, even for a low temperature use case. Please try again later. Please try again later. Phil Wall 5.0 out of 5 stars So far this unit is performing better than my old one ever did, is is quiter, and does not have an unpleasant smell. On the first use there was a slight smell, but the next day after 16 hours use the smell was gone. All function are simple to operate and the auto humidity function works well. Use to dry out a car that had windows left open in an over night rain storm. The fist day two litres were removed the second about a litre, the next day just a small amount probaly just atmospheric moisture. The car feels dry. Used to dry washing in a drying room, which it does very well. The water tank cover is a little fiddly to get back on, but that is my only very slightly negative comment. The unit is well made solidly built simple to use. Please try again later. Please try again later. C.johnson 4.0 out of 5 stars Numerous emails to EcoAir with no response. Not good customer service with an unreliable product Update July 2020 Ecoair collected the Dehumidifier and repaired it under their warranty. Returned within 2 weeks. Good servicePlease try again later. Please try again later. Raymond 5.0 out of 5 stars Great for winter clothes drying. I decided to go for a Desiccant dehumidifier over a compressor dehumidifier. The advertised stats for compressor dehumidifiers requires the environment to be at high temperatures and high humidity levels. Whereas the advertised stats for a desiccant dehumidifier is consistent over a large range of temperatures. Desiccant also provides you with some heating and not as heavy as those compressors. Really surprised how much water it can draw out of the air. Please try again later.

Please try again later. You can edit your question or post anyway. Kind regards. K. Collier This product will come with an instruction manual. If you have this product already and have not got a manual you will be able to get this online -. Kind regards. Magazine Best Buy 2014 ?179.00. Strangely, its closest competitor is its sister model, the EcoAir DD122FW Classic, which has more features but it also costs more. The main differences between the two are: The control panel features just two lights and two switches, one switch which controls the humidity level and another that controls the fan speed. Twist it to its furthest counterclockwise position and it’ll switch the machine off. Move it away from this position and you move through a range of different humidity options. The the dial moves through the high humidity area first (80%-60%RH), then medium humidity (60%-50%RH) and then low humidity (50%-40%RH), signified by one, two and three water droplets respectively. One the one hand it’s frustrating to not be able to select a particular percentage relative humidity, but on the other hand the dial actually gives finer control over the humidity of the room, rather than being restricted to two or three particular humidity settings. I’d recommend that you leave the dial in the middle (two droplet) setting for all but the coldest of days (. In this setting the machine will not stop no matter what humidity is reached. This is great for drying laundry or a particularly damp room. However, note the red colour of this area, which is there to warn you that this setting should not be left on permanently, more for special occasions and short boosts or you risk causing damage to your home and the machine. It is accessible from the side of machine, which I liked as it means you don’t have to turn the machine around to get to it. The bucket also has a lid to minimise spillages and a top-mounted handle for easy carrying.

Unfortunately the DD122FW Simple doesn’t come with a ioniser to improve the air quality like most other desiccant dehumidifiers do, but this model is really about no-frills dehumidifying power. Those flat edges make it easier to push up against walls (although remember a gap is required from a wall for the intake on the back of the machine). Also, the collection bucket is accessible from the side, which means you don’t have to rotate the machine to open it, which is required with many dehumidifiers. Under typical UK conditions refrigerant dehumidifiers extract a lot less and in-fact, the 7-litre DD122FW Simple can extract about as much as a 16L refrigerant dehumidifier under typical conditions found in UK homes. If you want all the bells and whistles you could read our review of its brother model, otherwise the Simple is fantastic value, particularly at the moment with the sale we found at this shop, so it’s definitely worth checking that out. If you need the EcoAir or any other air conditioning system installed, call up Green Horizon. EcoAir is constantly researching and developing new products that are more environmentally friendly. We do not carry products that contain harmful gasses that are banned by the EC directive. We will also list the dehumidifiers with these features so that you can select to read in-depth reviews about these models before purchasing them. It is in these rooms in which you have the heating turned on. When running a dehumidifier on the landing upstairs the temperature will be far lower than the downstairs temperature so a desiccant dehumidifier should be used. It is a basic compressor models which contains extra features such as the LED display panel, a timer and a massive 3.5 litre water tank. At least, that has been our experience. If you are looking for a dehumidifier to suit a smaller space this is the one to get. This means that the DD122FW is a manually operated machine while the DD122MK5 is a fully automated dehumidifier.

It contains all the features of the very popular DD122MK5 (ByeMould’s editor’s choice!) with larger extraction and a larger tank. The Simple is a very good dehumidifier and if you want to buy the DD322FW Classic without the bells and whistles then the DD322FW Simple will be your choice. We particularly like the E7 technology which makes this an energy-efficient automated model. Typically a red light on the control panel turns on, an alarm is sounded and the dehumidifier won’t work until the filter is cleaned or correctly inserted. Silver Nano filters constantly throw of silver to kill bacteria, viruses and spores etc on the filter as well as in the air immediately surrounding the filter. These ions then attach themselves onto positive ions such as dust mites, dirt particles, mould spores and pollen etc. The ion then falls down into the dehumidifier’s filter or onto the floor where it wil be vacuumed up. The dehumidifier will resume operations when the water tank has been emptied and reinserted correctly. This ice is visible on the coils. When this happens the dehumidifier stops cooling and turns into fan only mode which pushes the warmer room air over the coils helping to defrost them. Once the coils are sufficiently defrosted the dehumidifier will start working in other settings again. This is a handy feature when you can’t empty the water tank yourself for long periods of time. Think garages, caravans, boats, sheds, greenhouses etc. Gravity will pull the water down the hose into the drain. The extraction rate is the amount of moisture removed from the air in 24 hours and is measured in litres. The dehumidifier will work at full power until relative humidity falls to around 35%. Ideal, as the name implies, for drying laundry inside as well as for use on wet walls and DIY projects where drying time can be shortend. Without a LED display you need to buy a hygrometer to see what the actual room humidity levels are.

If you are an earth lover, as we are here at ByeMould, we would suggest that you purchase a CFC free dehumidifier. The dehumidifier automatically toggles between its different settings to operate in its most efficient setting for the climate. This is just the nature of appliances and has nothing to do with production standards from high quality companies. Several of the points below have been described earlier in this guide however we appreciate that readers may scroll down to this section without reading the information above. Hence we will briefly describe the most important points so that readers will have full information at their disposal. The advantages of desiccant dehumidifiers over compressor units are not limited too but include being: Clearly this is a new benchmark in dehumidifier technology. Basically silver-nano technology kills bacteria upon contact both on the filter and in the air. The ioniser introduces negative ions into the air and these ions hook up to positive ions such as dust and pollen. The new ion is too heavy to stay afloat in the air and falls to the ground, or into the dehumidifiers filter, ready to be cleaned up. Model: ECO DD122FW SIMPLE MK2. Attach the tubing to the connector through the hole. 2. The tubing should be lead to the drain with no sharp bends. NOTE: 1. The bucket must be in the correct position before tubing. 2. Remove the tubing before pulling out the bucket. Knockout Hose 7 10 MAINTENANCE Cleaning the unit 1. Turn off the unit, wait for the fan to stop and unplug from the power socket. 2. Clean the surface with a soft damp cloth. 3. Dry thoroughly with a towel after cleaning. 4. In order to avoid damage, do not wash the machine with water, or let water drip into the air inlet or outlet. Cleaning the nano-silver filter If the filter is covered with dust, the airflow and the performance of the unit will be affected. It is recommended to check and clean the air filter every 2 weeks. 1. Turn off the unit and remove the filter from the unit. 2. Clean the nano-silver filter only with a vacuum cleaner. (Washing will weaken the germicidal effect of the filter) 3. Replace the filter in position. Before storing 1. Turn off the unit, wait for it to stop and unplug from the power socket. 2. Clean and dry the bucket. Leave the unit to drain for approximately one day. 3. Clean the filter and the unit. Cover the unit to prevent it from gathering dust. If you turn the humidistat clockwise the unit should turn on for a drier humidity level. Empty the bucket, check the float in position, and replace the bucket. Place the unit on a stable, level surface. Make sure there is nothing blocking the air inlet and air outlet of the unit. Clean the filter. Unplug and wait at least 10 minutes to resume operation. Do not use it in a small and closed place where heat accumulates. Move to a cooler place, wait at least 10 minutes to resume operation. Unit has safety feature to prevent it from overheat, wait at least 10 minutes to resume operation. Check the unit is placed on a level surface and not accidentally sitting on a cable etc.

If it is dirty, remove any obstacle that covers the air inlet or outlet, and wait for at least ten minutes before plugging in and switching back on. 2. Please contact your retailer if the problem continues. Do not try to repair it by yourself, as this could cause an electrical shock and void your warranty. 9 12 TROUBLESHOOTING Smell coming from the dehumidifier When you first use the dehumidifier and periodically afterwards you might notice a smell coming from the dehumidifier. This is caused by the Zeolite desiccant material and is not a sign that the dehumidifier is faulty, nor is it harmful to humans or pets. The smell occurs because the Zeolite absorbs odours from items like cigarettes, cosmetics, hair sprays, building materials and new furniture and then when the desiccant is heated the smell is discharged into the room. This smell has been described as being like a burning smell or a sour smell. It is normal, will not last long and is not a sign of a fault. Amount of water collected When you first use your dehumidifier it may work harder to reduce the room humidity to it's target humidity level, this is the time when it will produce the most water and need emptying most frequently. As the room becomes dryer the dehumidifier collects less water. This is normal. When the target relative humidity has been reached the dehumidifier will stop. If you find that you still have condensation on your windows or you need to dry the air further then turning the humidistat knob more clockwise will turn on the dehumidifier again to dry the air further to a less humidity. You may choose Turbo mode to get a faster drying, or choose quiet mode to get a slower but quieter operation. Safety temporary auto shut-off The unit may automatically switch off periodically to cool itself down as a safety precaution (for approximately 15 minutes). This feature is evident in the Turbo mode. This is normal and once the unit cools down, it will resume operation.

Ventilation The dehumidifier must not be placed in a confined space. Move the dehumidifier to a well ventilated area for example in a hallway, landing or a ventilated room. Ensure that its not in close proximity to any form of heat source, such as a radiator or appliances that generate heat (eg tumble dryer or cooker). FEATURES Tips For Cleaning Silver Nano Filter If the filter is covered with dust, the airflow and the performance of the unit will be affected. Check the filter periodically to ensure any dust is removed (It is recommended to check and clean the air filter every 2 weeks or an appropriate frequency depending on your usage and air environment). How to Clean 1. Turn off the unit and remove the filter from the unit. 2. Clean the Silver Nano Filter only with a vacuum cleaner. (Washing will weaken the germicidal effect of the filter) 3. Replace the filter in position. Coverage is valid only with proof of purchase. This unit must be operated under conditions as recommended, at voltage indicated on the unit.
